Yoga and Health
Yoga is fantastic for developing and strengthening your body, but it's not a medically qualified practice and should not be considered an alternative to a qualified medical professional's diagnosis for any given medical condition. You are ultimately responsible for your own body and if something doesn't feel right for any reason during a class you must stop and let the instructor know.
If you have or have recently experienced any of the health conditions listed below, please let your instructor know in advance of attending a class:
-
High blood pressure
-
Low blood pressure/fainting
-
Arthritis

Any other conditions which might affect your mobility or are likely to cause you concern when doing yoga.
